Sharon D. Beswick hails from the United Kingdom, having been born in London, England. She is the youngest of four children of Bishop Esme Beswick MBE and the late Pastor Herbert G. Beswick. Growing up as the daughter of ministers, Sharon was deeply engaged in church activities from an early age. Her passion for music blossomed while singing alongside her siblings in the church choir and praise team.
By the time she turned 18, Sharon was on her way to a professional music career. Years of singing at church services transitioned into regular session work at some of London's premier studios, including Abbey Road Studios, Sony Studios, and Virgin Records, among others. Throughout the years, she has provided her vocal talents while touring and working as a session and background vocalist for various artists.
Spice Girls, Take That, George Michael, Chaka Khan, Michael Bolton, Donnie McClurkin, The Winans, The Clark Sisters, Jennifer Holiday, Cheryl Porter, Michelle Gayle, and many more.
She has also toured Europe numerous times, singing on various album projects in Italy, Germany, Switzerland, & France, Paris,Unites States, In addition to all of this, Sharon has also worked professionally as a make-up artist. She has served as Business Manager & Makeup Artist in some of the UK’s famous department stores such as Harrods, Harvey Nichols, Selfridges.Sharon has worked also as a MUA for fashion week shows in New York & for various artists around the world. It was a blend of these various experiences in music, entertainment, and fashion, and industry friends who gave her some great advise that became the inspiration for Sharon to start her own business.
Beswick1 Media launched in 2008, its a full-service company that offers artist direction and development, as well as events planning and business services. Sharon’s experience in working with artists both established as well as new artists in the area of media is designed to alleviate the stress of PR and business management so that they can continue to thrive creatively, as well as helping them to reach higher levels of accomplishment in the music industry. Sharon’s list of clients include: Prince, NPG Band, Stevie Wonder band, J.A.L.C. (Jazz at Lincoin Center w/ Sean Jones), LL Cool J, Beyonce (All Female Band Suga Ma ma,)Tia Fuller (Mack Avenue Recording Artist), David Gest’s “My Life” Tour with Peabo Bryson, James Ingram, The Stylistics, Freda Payne, Dorothy Moore, Edwin Hawkins, Kirk Whalum, Glenn Jones the National Civil Rights Museum’s Freedom Awards, and many others.
